Coglin joins Sarasin as Chief Investment Officer Asia
Bank Sarasin named Michael Coglin as a Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer Asia, based in Hong Kong. Coglin reports directly to Enid Yip, Chief Executive Officer Asia, on a regional basis, and to Burkhard P. Varnholt, Head of the Asset Management, Products and Sales Division, Chief Investment Officer and a member of the Executive Committee, on a functional basis.
Michael Coglin has more than 20 years’ experience in senior private banking, asset management and capital market roles. He joins Sarasin from Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, where he had worked since 2001. While with Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management, Coglin has focused on investment solutions, heading International Global Investment Solutions and Product Management and Investment Solutions. He has a strong track record in identifying compelling investment opportunities.
